We are proud to present to you, the culmination of many years of hard work to bring the history and culture of the Rondo Community to life and reveal the thriving African American community that was the foundation for much of the civic and social justice work in our neighborhoods. This would not have been possible without numerous elders in our community who shared their memories, their photographs and their hearts with us to establish the Hallie Q. Brown Community Archive.

This Rondo-opoly, by all appearances, is just another variation on a classic game — but it is, in fact, so much more. This game brings to life the thriving history of this great community and helps to make it tangible as well as fun.
