16th Annual Princess Tea Party & Table Manners
Join the Life Etiquette Institute and the NAACP St. Paul Chapter for the 16th Annual Princess Tea Party & Table Manners at Hallie Q. Brown Community Center on August 9th, 2026.

National Night Out: The Saint Paul Get Down
Join Hallie Q. Brown Community Center as we table at The Saint Paul Get Down, hosted by Martin Luther King Recreation Center, for an evening of music, creativity, and community.
This free event features performances by emerging local hip-hop artists ages 14–24 who have spent the summer developing their talents alongside experienced mentors. Guests can enjoy live music from DJ D-Mil and DJ Mad Mardigan, the official DJ of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx, along with free DJ workshops led by some of the Twin Cities' top talent.
Families can also enjoy free food, a jump castle, a rock-climbing wall, National Night Out activities, and much more.

Rondo Days
Rondo Days is an annual festival held on the third Saturday in July in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The event commemorates the historic Rondo neighborhood, a vibrant African American community that was divided by the construction of Interstate 94 in the mid-1960s. Founded in 1982 by Floyd G. Smaller and Marvin Anderson. The event will be hosted on the ground of Hallie Q. Brown Community Center and MLK Jr. Recreation Center.

Rondo Legacies Frank White: Baseball as a Culture
Join Rondo Library for an engaging evening with author, historian, and Rondo community leader Frank White as he shares the untold stories of Black baseball players in Minnesota and explores the cultural impact of the game on African-American communities.
Drawing from his book, They Played for the Love of the Game, White will highlight the history of Black baseball, youth recreation, and community building throughout Minnesota.
